X-rays

The radiograph is a basic diagnostic procedure. Here, different structures / tissues are shown due to their different density and thus their different permeability to X-rays.

First and foremost the X-ray is a study method that has, despite modern techniques such as computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging the entitlement in the skeleton in two levels and in function.
This can present wear on the vertebrae (spondylosis), the vertebral joints (orthopedic surgery) and indirectly also on the discs (Spondylchondrose). Also deformities of the spine (scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis (spondylolisthesis) are being imaging.

Furthermore, the X-ray is of importance in the diagnosis of fractures (broken bones). Through the shooting in different positions (flexion - forward bend extension - to the rear and side bending) the so-called instabilities i.e. structure relaxations may be presented.
